Safe, dance! - Men Without Hats.

Greetings and apologies Shutterdayers,

I've had this Safety thing going through my head since last week's
theme of dance. (And apologies to Shutterday Google Group members who
did not receive notification.)

This week's theme is safety. Submissions may consist of images of
daredevils, hazards, public safety officials, police, fireman,
ambulance crews, signs, warnings, train wrecks, car accidents, plane
crashes, fires, floods, tsunamis, tornados, evacuations, rescues. You
get the drill.

It is going to be noted in advance, that to me, there appears to be a
growing differentiation of photoblogging intent. There are nice
family photoblogs, artistic photoblogs, and photojournalism photoblogs
to name a few. Any photoblog may have elements of each, however,
stumbling across crime scene photos in a usually arty photoblog can
prove shocking. For instance Flickr is emerging as the best source of
news images since the founding of the Associated Press.

Please keep this in mind when looking at this week's entries.

Homer K Laffoone, Air Raid Shelter Warden.
