Metatron itself is online and running SSH services and I've downloaded a backup of /srv/www/htdocs and database dumps. Maybe now is a good time to retire Metatron and set shiftspace.org back up on a VPS? I am happy to host it on my prgmr.com account, or set it up elsewhere if you guys have other thoughts.

Here's what the current setup looks like to me:
Domain registration: Mushon's Dreamhost account
DNS: Managed by Geek ISP
Web hosting: Metatron (offline)

My Dreamhost account *thinks* it's hosting DNS + web, but it appears that it's been cut off at the WHOIS level. Maybe the next step is for me to upload my backup somewhere, upgrade WordPress (and fix any resulting issues with the theme, etc.), set up new DNS records (I can use my DNSimple account), then have Mushon configure the domain to use this new DNS server. Make sense?

Thanks,
Dan

Ok, so I have a preliminary version of the WordPress site up at 65.49.73.232. If you edit your /etc/hosts file to point shiftspace.org and www.shiftspace.org to that IP, you should be able to see it working. Post-upgrade there's an issue with the page content not getting queried properly, but I recall this being an issue before. I'll have to debug a bit to see what's up.
