This is two birth certificates I also ordered. One for 1849 Manchester for a James Simon born in Chorlton, near the area where we find the Simons for the 1851 census. The other for James Delany born 1864. Again, that one could be wrong.
These certificates should arrive before Easter.
I am still thinking about the Ann Shields 1849 birth certificate. It may be worth it, just to confirm. I’ve also found her two brothers in the index as well. But these ones were question marks, still, and they might really help us when the come, so I thought I’d go for these ones.
