Margaret, James’ sister, would have been 22 or so in the 1861 census.

I found a Margaret Samon who married Michael Clare July-Aug-Sep 1853 (she would have been 15 or 16).

There is no sign of where Michael went, but Margaret Clare is living unmarried in 1861 with Edmund Clare, age 6, born in Salford. I have noted the marriage and child’s birth records. Not ready to order them yet. I would probably just do the marriage record first.

I should note that there is a Michael Cleary who dies in London Road district (which is where our family is) Fourth quarter 1853. But that would be too early for him to die and still be the father of Margaret’s Edmund.

Hope these ideas help us know where to go next! When would you like to plan a temple baptism trip? I’m feeling it’s time to get moving on some of these people, who have been waiting a long time already!
