Arrogant Saddam & Lesson from the story of Firawn in Quran
============================================
The world has seen on TV and Internet, Saddam dying in front of their eyes.Strangely this man never asked for forgiveness before he died. He wore a suit thinking as if he was still the (tyrant) president incharge of Iraq, and never apologised for his ordered killings. He knew very well tha he was facing the camera for the last time and the world would be watching him. This is where his true Pseudo-Muslim and a True-Baathist character was seen live on TV screens. On one hand we could see
him reciting the Shahada and on the other cursing the 'Fars'(Persians) proving he was a true Baathist until his last breath. He chanted inciting slogans for the 'Great Arab Nation' and their superior race.
Let us see what is Allah's view in the Quran (which ofcourse contradicts Saddam's
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
view).
------
[al-Hujraat 49:13]
O you men! surely We have created you of a male and a female, and made you tribes and families that you may know each other; surely the most honorable of you with Allah is the one among you most careful (of his duty); surely Allah is Knowing, Aware.
Moreover our most beloved Holy Prophet(SAWS) said in the speech of his farewell pilgrimage ‘There is only one God, and no
Arab is superior to a Non-Arab; nor is a Non-Arab superior to an Arab; a White is not superior to a Black, nor a Black over the White. The only criterion for superiority is Taqwa – i.e. righteousness, piety, and God-consciousness.
So was Saddam one amongst most careful (of his duty) ? or he was over-confident of being one of those belonging to the superior Arab race until his last moments ?
Why would Allah (s.w) forgive him?
[al-Hujraat 49:14] The dwellers of the desert say: We believe. Say: You do not believe but say, We submit; and faith has not yet entered into your hearts; and if you obey Allah and His Messenger, He will not diminish aught of your deeds; surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
Note that his verse is addressed to the Muslims(who have accepted the Islam and recited the Shahada) and not to non-Muslims
As it can be clearly seen there are two groups of Muslims: sincere Muslims, who have "acknowledged the realities of eeman", and those who make "mere verbal declarations of faith (pseudo-Muslims)".
In our society, professed Muslims are entitled to the safety and benefits of the laws meant for all Muslims. But, according to Qur'an, they are not entitled to any reward in the hereafter. Their declarations that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is His messenger, and their making a display of the fact that they are Muslims, have no real significance.
Those who believe that Saddam was a muslim and therefore all his bad deeds were erased since he uttered the Shahada just before execution, should ponder over the verses of Quran to find out what is Quranic judgement for such people.
The Quran never mentions the Egyptian king or kings by name. It uses the general designation, viz., Firawn, a dynastic title.
Allah told us that the
belief in Him and His message will not be accepted under three conditions:
[al-Anaam 6:158]
They do not wait aught but that the angels should come to them, or that your Lord should come, or that some of the signs of your Lord should come. On the day when some of the signs of your Lord shall come, its faith shall not profit a soul which did not believe before, or earn good through its faith. Say: Wait; we too are waiting.
Kindly pay attention to the following indicators :
------------------------------------------------
1) ”They do not wait aught but that the angels should come to them”, i.e. at the moment of death
2) ” or that your Lord should come”, again at them moment of death or at the moment of the death
3) ” On the day when some of the signs of your Lord shall come”, i.e. the signs of the death
Under Any of the Above :” its faith shall not profit a soul which did not believe before”
That is why Allah won’t accept Firwan's[Saddam's] submission because he falls under category 1 or 2 above.
Enemy of Allah and some confused believers continue promoting their conjectures which only prove their ignorance with our God's final
message, what the deaf and blinds didn’t see nor comprehend that [Yunus 10:90] clearly told us that Firon DIED as well it told us that at the moment of his death he declared his belief, but according to [al-Anaam 6:158], his submission can’t be accepted because he believed at the moment of death, let’s see how [Yunus 10:90] told us that Firon DIED:
[Yunus 10:90-92]
90- And We made the children of Israel to pass through the sea, then Firawn and his hosts followed them for oppression and
tyranny; until when drowning overtook him, he said: I believe that there is no god but He in Whom the children of Israel believe and I am of those who submit.
91- Now! and indeed you disobeyed before and you were of the mischief-makers.
92- This day shall We save thee in the body, that thou mayest be a sign to those who come after thee! but verily, many among mankind are heedless of Our Signs!
We read that
Firawn followed Bani Israel :” And We made the children of Israel to pass through the sea, then Firon and his hosts followed them for oppression and tyranny”, then the Quran quickly moved to the moment of his death, here is the Arabic words "Hatta Iza Adrakahu Al Gharaq”. i.e. ” until when drowning overtook him”, the Arabic word “Adrakahu” is very vital here because it is a common word that means “CAUGHT WITH NO ESCAPE”, i.e Firawn realized that there is no escape but to drown. the word “Da Ra Ka” was used in the Quran with DEATH many times, as we know that we can’t escape death as Allah told us.At this moment when Firawn was caught with no escape but to drown he declared his belief, the words ” حَتَّى إِذَا”
requires a second event after the first event (drowning caught him with no escape), the second event was stated clearly afterward :” he said: I believe that there is no god but He in Whom the children of Israel believe and I am of those who submit” and that was the last thing he said then he drowned , however as we have seen that he did it after “ the drowning ADRAKAHU ”, i.e. was caught drowning with no escape, therefore it can’t be accepted and that is exactly what Allah said in [Yunus 10:91], in fact Allah clearly talked about that moment of his death:” Now! and indeed you disobeyed before and you were of the mischief-makers.”, can you see the word (NOW)?, that is the moment of Firawn's death, then after he drowned, Allah made the sea to expel his dead body ” This day shall We save thee in the body, that thou mayest be a sign to those who come after thee!”
And that is exactly what happened to Firawn[Saddam during Execution] he was caught with no escape and drowned and as we know a drowned man is a dead man
Now those ignorant Muslims who suggest that Allah may have forgiven Firawn or sort of Firawn has submitted to him at the moment of death and he will be entitled to forgiveness, then why Allah is telling us the Firawn will LEAD his people to Hell:
[Hud 11:96-98]
96: And we sent Moses, with Our Clear (Signs) and an authority manifest,
97: Unto Pharaoh and his chiefs: but they followed the command of Pharaoh and the command of Pharaoh was no right (guide).
98: He will go before his people on the Day of Judgment, and lead them into the Fire (as cattle are led to water): But woeful indeed will be the place to which they are led!
Again please ponder over the verse - ” He will go before his people on the Day of
Judgment, and LEAD them into the Fire: But woeful indeed will be the place to which they are led!”
Proof's of Allah that Firawn was really dead and his body was saved as a proof
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Firawn and his army was drowned in the sea, but the dead body of Firawn was thrown on the shore so that the people who worshipped him as a god might know that their (false) god was a
lifeless decomposed corpse, and men in every age may draw a lesson."
[Yunus 10:92]
This day shall We save thee in the body, that thou mayest be a sign to those who come after thee! but verily, many among mankind are heedless of Our Signs!
Saving the body of Firon was a must by Allah, in fact He told us that in the same verse [Yunus 10:49], we know that Firon claimed to their
god:
[an-Naaziaat 79:23-24]
23- Then he gathered (men) and called out.
24- Then he said: I am your lord, the most high.
See what Firon was doing: ”he gathered (men) and called out”, then to the crowd he announced that he is their god :” Then he said: I am
your lord, the most high.”
-> Many naïve humans believed him indeed, therefore if he just drowned and his body disappeared in the sea then many of those humans might have said, “HE WAS OUR GOD AND SURELY HE MUST HAVE SAVED HIMSELF AND WENT TO STAY IN THE HEAVEN WHERE HE SUPPOSE TO BE”, according to [an-Naaziaat 79:24] Firawn told the crowd : ”I am your lord, the most high”, ”Rabakum Al Aala”, i.e. “your god who is up there in the heaven”
-> Therefore Allah planned that the sea expels the DEAD
BODY of Firawn so those who might have been thinking that Firawn is a god, now they can see his dead and helpless body in front of their eyes, the mothers of all refutes that Firawn was not our God as he claimed.
-> In fact this is what Allah told us that He saved his body for all the generations after him to SEE and this is what happened exactly, his body was preserved by the old Egyptians and his mummy now sits in the Egyptians museum FOR ALL GENERATIONS TO SEE, therefore [Yunus 10:92] is actually another miracle in the Quran .
Let’s look at the miracle in [Yunus 10:49] in detail:
-> ” فَالْيَوْمَ نُنَجِّيكَ بِبَدَنِكَ لِتَكُونَ لِمَنْ خَلْفَكَ آيَةً”, ” We save thee in the body, that thou mayest be a sign to those who come after thee”, see, Allah is telling us
why He saved Firawn dead body, ” that thou mayest be a sign to those who come after thee”, the Arabic words ” لِمَنْ خَلْفَكَ”, “Le Mn Khalafaka”, ” to those who come after the” is a clear Quranic miracle. The mummy of Ramesus II, the last Firawn of the eighteenth dynasty, has been found at Thebes, and is now in a glass case in the museum of Cairo, for every man to look upon (Encyclopaedia Britannica).
In the same way the whole Planet SAW the Execution of Saddam and his dead body in the coffin as a proof that he was dead at
last!
Firawn is a special person in the Quran, he was mentioned a lot because HE CLAIMED TO BE OUR GOD, and if you read the Quran well you will read that HE WAS PROMISED THE TOUGHEST OF ALL PUNISHMENT:
[al-Ghaafir 40:46]
The fire; they shall be brought before it (every) morning and evening and on the day when the hour shall come to pass: Make Firawn's people enter the severest
chastisement.
->The calamities Firawn and his people suffered in this world were nothing compared to the penalties they will suffer in the next world, mentioned in these verses.
This is the least I could arrange and present .....
I ask Thee to Shower unbounded blessing on Muhammad and the progeny of Muhammad.ALLAH HUMMA SALLEY ALAA MUHAMMADIN WA ALA AALEY MUHAMMAD
