Dear Shelter and CCCM partners,

We are currently fine tuning the Monsoon 2011 Shelter and CCCM
contingency plans.

Therefore we would like your cooperation in the following:

- Review the humanitarian emergency shelter contingency plan attached.
This plan is currently being integrated with the government
contingency plans in the provinces.
- Can you please verify the information (HR capacity and NFI stocks)
we received before from you the last months (attached a spreadsheet!).
Please review contact details, stocks, staff, locations etc. (Clearly
indicate where you make changes, use colors!) and send back to us.
- Review and store the rapid assessment questionnaire (only the
shelter part!!) we have developed in cooperation with the other
sectors. This assessment is about to be endorsed by NDMA. This is a
standard assessment form to be applied in the first 72 hrs!! A more
specific shelter assessment is being developed for the later stages so
therefore it only contains broad questions! We will ask organizations
to use this form in the initial stages.

Last week OCHA and NDMA requested IOM to identify organizations who
can be the initial district CCCM and Shelter Focal points in the
initial stages of a potential emergency.
The DCO's or commissioners are planning to call multi sector / cluster
meetings and therefore participation from shelter and CCCM is
required.
For this purpose IOM is requested to provide a list with names,
organization, phone and emails per district. or these focal points.
Please volunteer your organization!!

It would be very helpful to receive you comments and input on the
documents on shelte...@gmail.com as soon as possible but
ultimately on wednesday 20th July.
