Apologies for the bandwidth abuse, but I need to check that the
messaging is working correctly.

This is because I'm hoping to release version 1.7 of the shell
extensions - with one new extension (for directory contents frequency
analysis) and new installer / uninstaller - in the next week or so, and
want to check that the message system works correctly.
