Spring flowers are popping up everywhere and it's the perfect time to crochet a few pretties that you can keep indoors to enjoy year-round!

You'll find my newest crochet pattern, "Daffy For Daffodils!" here

The daffodil is crocheted in two sections using Double Treble Crochet stitch. If that stitch isn't currently in your repertoire, just check out the YouTube tutorials for right or left handed crocheters included with the pattern.

The daffodil, measuring about 2.5 inches wide and 1.5 inches tall, can be starched and used as a pencil topper, attached to floral wire and taped with floral tape as a single bloom for a vase, attached to a hair barrette, a pin, or just about anything else you can imagine.

Daffodils come in lots of gorgeous color combinations! You might try pink and white, orange and yellow, all white, all yellow… the list goes on and on. What a great way to use up those loose ends of scrap thread!

If you want a really large daffodil, you could crochet this in size 3 yarn or even worsted weight. The bigger the yarn, the bigger the flower!

Hope you enjoy creating a touch of Spring with your crochet hook!
