The project “Harnessing the Sharing Economy for Urban Development” will fund a series of detailed case studies addressing the implications of the spread of these platforms in cities of the Global South. Case studies should build evidence on the impacts of issues such as social inclusion, resilience, gender, regulation,              competitiveness and rights of workers, producers consumers and, as new economic actors, prosumers.
