Looking for information on the duration and type of rentals in AirBnB and similar services

Dear colleagues,

 

Does anyone have information on the duration of rentals in AirBnB and similar services?  I have been told that there is a trend toward longer stays and toward use of dedicated facilities for this type of rental (apartments, etc. solely for use with AirBnB).

 

Does anyone know of solid information on either question?
