Sex and Recovery Groups Dealing With Sexual Problems.
Well I went looking for a support group for recovery from sexual problems and I learned a few things.
*SexAholics Anonymous (SA) believes that there is no such thing as sanctified self-stimulation to orgasm, and teach that all forms of self-stimulation, including doctor prescribed self-stimulation, are wrong and harmful. They cannot give any clear and specific Scripture that all self-stimulaiton is wrong and harmful.
*SRA, Sexual Recovery Anonymous, believes that there is no such thing as sanctified self-stimulation to orgasm, and teach that all forms of self-stimulation, including doctor prescribed self-stimulation, are wrong and harmful. They teach that sex is to be experienced best in mutually committed relationships. They cannot give any clear and specific Scripture that all self-stimulaiton is wrong and harmful.
*SAA, Sex Addicts Anonymous is not Bible based of specifically Christian, but Christian beliefs re sexuality are accepted. They seek to deal with compulsive sexual behavior, and promote monogamous consensual relationships.
*SCA, Sexual Compulsive Anonymous, targets compulsive sexual behavior and Christians are welcome to hold to their Christian boundaries.
*SLAA, Sex and Love Addicts Anonymous, allows each member to define what harmful and unwise behavior is for themselves, and to develop their own plan to stop acting out in undesired and addictive behavior.
*Celebrate Recovery: I have been unable to find any CR position statement on self-stimulation or masturbation, but I believe they would hold the same position as SA and SRA.
FOR THIS GROUP, MY POSITION IS THAT FOUND IN "Godly Vs. Ungodly Sex - - Marriage, Separation, Divorce and Porn" at

[8.] The act of sexually stimulating oneself to to orgasm, . . .
without physical contact with another, is no where in the Bible declared
specifically, explicitly or clearly to be sin, as long as one does not
think sexually sinful thoughts, does not think of or imagine doing sex
sin while stimulating oneself, does not result in the sexual neglect of one's
own marital partner, i.e. failing to be having regular and ongoing sexual
intimacy with one's own marital partner. Self-stimulation that doesn't
involve thoughts of actions that are
specifically, explicitly and clearly declared to be sin by God, such
self-stimulation becomes a matter of Romans 14. As far as I know, if a
man has the doubt-free faith/belief that it is acceptable to God to
self-stimulate to orgasm while thinking about kissing, licking and/or
manually touching a single woman's feet, legs, thighs, buns, back,
stomach, neck, hands, arms and/or face - while and after having
massaged those body parts with olive oil and honey, it is a Romans 14
issue and he should have such faith/belief and/or practice privately,
discretely and secretly before God according to Romans 14:22-23, being
very careful to not discuss, debate or argue about doing it (Rom 14:1; 2 Tim 2:22-24)..
[9.] it is acceptable to God to self-stimulate to orgasm while . . .
As far as I know, it is a Romans 14 issue if a single woman has the doubt-free faith/belief based on the Word of God that it is acceptable to God to self-stimulate to orgasm while thinking about a man kissing, licking and/or manually touching her feet, legs, thighs, buns, back, stomach, neck, hands, arms and/or face; and she
should have such faith/belief and/or practice privately, discretely and
secretly before God according to Romans 14:22, being very careful to not discuss, debate or argue about doing it (Rom 14:1; 2 Tim 2:22-24). In the same way, as far as I know, it is a Romans 14 issue if a man has the doubt-free faith/belief from the Word of God that it is acceptable to God to self-stimulate to orgasm while thinking about kissing, licking and/or manually touching the feet, legs, thighs, buns, back, stomach, neck, hands, arms and/or face of a woman; and he should have such faith/belief and/or practice privately, discretely and secretly before God according to Romans 14:22, being very careful to not discuss, debate or argue about doing it (Rom 14:1; 2 Tim 2:22-24)
---------------------
There is no Scripture, in the Old or New Testament, that says - - and it is a sin to add to the Scriptures, to put words in God's mouth - - that it is sin or evil to self-stimulate oneself to orgasm simply beholding the beauty of one of the opposite sex, without thinking of genital contact, breast contact, or seeing genitals, without thinking of doing what the Bible specifically, clearly and explicitly declares to be sin, to be contrary to the Word of God. There is no Scripture that says it is sin to touch the feet, legs, back, stomach, arms, neck or head of one of the opposite sex. Furthermore, there is no other Scripture OTHER than Romans 14 that indicates it is sinful to self-stimulate while thinking of touching the feet, legs, back, stomach, arms, neck or head one of the opposite sex WITHOUT GENITAL CONTACT OR EXPOSURE. Romans 14 makes it clear that it is a deadly sin for one to think of touching the feet, legs, back, stomach, arms, neck or head one of the opposite sex WITHOUT GENITAL CONTACT OR EXPOSURE, if that one believes that doing so is contrary to God's will, that one has no permission from God to do so, or if doing so stumbles another[striking the toe of one's conscience against an obstacle inducing one to sin by acting in doubt], or offends another [ stumbles or is enticed to act without faith or think unfavourably or unjustly of another and so displeased and indignant], or is makes another weak [morally feeble, without strength, powerless].
Romans 14 makes it clear that if you have doubts about the rightness before God of self-stimulation, if you have no peace of mind from God
about self-stimulation, or if you offend, grieve, stumble or trouble another
by your self-stimulation, then your self-stimulation is sin. Rom 14:1 makes it clear that if you believe in godly and sanctified self-stimulation, you must not discuss or argue about your practice of self-stimulation with anyone who disagrees with you or feels it is wrong. The servant of God must not argue or quarrel (rom 14;1; 2 tim 2:24-26). We may state our controversial beliefs but we must never argure or quarrel about them, and if we believe that sanctified and godly self-stimulation is acceptable to God, we must have that behavior privately and discretely before God, not before or to the knowledge of our fellow believers (Rom 14:1,22).

***1Cor 10: 23 ¶ Everything is allowable, but not everything is profitable. Everything is allowable, but everything does not build others up. 24 No one should be for ever seeking his own good, but each should seek that [good] of his fellow man. 25 Any [form of sin free sexual acts practiced in the world may be practiced] and ask no questions for conscience’ sake; 26 for <the earth is the Lord’s, and all that it contains.> 27 If an unbeliever gives you an invitation and you are disposed to accept it, [accept it with your own personal and private sin free sexual acts], and ask no questions for conscience’ sake. 28 But if any one tells you, “This [form of sin free sexual act is wrong and evil];” abstain from [manifesting] it [to his knowledge] -- out of respect for him who warned you, and, as before, for conscience’ sake. 29 But now I mean his conscience, not your own. “Why, on what ground,” you may object, “is the question of my liberty of action to be decided by a conscience not my own? 30 If, so far as I am concerned, I partake [ of my own personal and private sin free sexual acts] with a grateful heart, why am I to be found fault with in regard to a thing for which I give thanks?” 31 Whether, then, you are [partaking or not partaking], or whatever you are doing, everything should be done to the glory of God. 32 Do not [let your own personal and private sin free sexual acts] be causes of stumbling either to Jews or to Gentiles, nor to the Church of God. 33 That is the way that I also seek in everything the approval of all men, not aiming at my own profit, but at that of the many, in the hope that they may be saved. Rom 14:16 Let not then your [conviction that your own personal and private sin free sexual acts are] good be evil spoken of; 17 for the kingdom of God is not [sin free sexual acts] and [sin free NONSEXUAL acts], but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. 18 For he that in this [controversy about sin free sexual acts] serves the Christ is acceptable to God and approved of men. 19 So then let us pursue the things which tend to peace, and things whereby one shall build up another. 20 For the sake of [sin free sexual acts] do not destroy the work of God. All things [including sin free sexual acts] indeed are pure; but it is evil to that man who [does sin free sexual acts] while stumbling [in sin] because of his doubts about its rightness. 21 It is right not to [do sin free sexual acts], nor [do sin free sexual acts], nor do anything in which thy brother [or sister] stumbles [striking the toe of one's conscience against an obstacle inducing one to sin by acting in doubt], or is offended [ or stumbles or is enticed to act without faith or think unfavourably or unjustly of another and so displeased and indignant], or is made weak [morally feeble, without strength, powerless]. 22 Have you faith [to believe that thinking only of a woman’s beauty while self stimulating to orgasm is right and so does it]? Have [self-stimulation with thoughts only of a woman’s beauty, face, shoulders, back, legs etc.] to yourself before God --- “keep your faith to yourself in the presence of God”. Blessed is the one who does not judge oneself in what [belief or practice of sin free sexual acts like sin free self-stimulation] one allows [with a firm and convinced faith in its rightness]. 22 AGAIN Do you have faith [about self-stimulation while thinking of one's own mate] , have [your faith about self-stimulation while thinking of one's own mate] to yourself in the presence of God. Blessed is he who does not judge himself in what [self-stimulation while thinking of one's own mate] he allows. 23 But one that doubts [about the rightness of thinking only of a woman’s beauty while self stimulating to orgasm], if [that] one [does think only of a woman’s beauty while self stimulating to orgasm], [that one] is condemned; because [that one did the sexual acts] not because of faith [in their rightness];

For God, the Father in Heaven who is a consuming fire, so unselfishly and compassionately loved humans that He sent His only Son who was miraculously born of Mary to meet the requirements of justice and die in our place to take on Himself the judgment we deserve for our sins, so that if we believe Him and rely on Him to make us right with Father and save us from all that makes us incompatible with Father, He makes us compatible with Father so we can live with Him forever in His Love, liberating Truth, enlightening Light and everlasting Life.
