HONDURAS: Three part trip: business, school, and medical. For the medical team, we hope to create a lasting relationship with the city of Tegucigalpa, and a community called Via Linda Miller in particular. There are many different things we might do: participate in medical brigades, partner in staffing and sustaining a clinic, teaching first-aid and CPR, and community education. There may also be opportunities for mental health, counseling, and occupational therapy. We will know more as soon as our contact is living in Honduras.
Time: end June/early July.
Estimated cost: $1200-1400. We are looking for health care workers who would love to participate in education, and it's a plus if they speak spanish!

BURMA: We’re looking for 6 people who are medical professionals (MD, PA, NP, RN, Dentist, PT), feel comfortable teaching, and want a little to a lot of ADVENTURE! We have a new strategic partnership with one of very few organizations that have been allowed by the Burmese military to cross the Thailand border into Burma. We will be helping to teach a pre-written curriculum to local displaced people after the cyclone. These people (The Shan) have a clinic building but no MDs! They have invited our partner org to come in and create a health care system. We will be one of the multiple teams of MDs, nurses, and the like to teach and train the locals over a 6 month period. While we are teaching we will be treating the sick, giving counsel to the traumatized, and guidance to the lost. We may have transport across the border or might have to hike in. This is not a trip for the faint of heart. Come and join us!
Time: 10 days in November
Estimated cost: $2,500

LOS ANGELES: Are you looking to make more of a difference in the lives around you? We are gathering a new group of people that want to explore what work we can do here in Los Angeles. Whether it’s with the homeless, those suffering with AIDS, we want to make a new concerted effort to help those that are crying out. This pioneering group will reach out into LA for opportunities to help where the needs are just too great. If you want to be a part of this effort we’d love your help.
