SEA Charter schools are the only Charter Schools in LA dedicated to helping to educate the “last-chance” students. They reach students who have dropped out, been kicked out or are appointed by the court system. This is a heroic organization that you’re going to want to be a part of. SEA has created a new program called Youth Transformation Training. serveLA is partnering with them to help train mentors and life coaches for these kids. This is a chance to serve kids who need your encouragement and love to find their greatness. Our intention is to create a FORCE of caring adults that will stand for the amazing potential inside of every one of these teenagers.
Space for mentors at each training will be limited, so be urgent about getting plugged in. Again, each Mentor must attend a SEA Volunteer Staff Training before volunteering with the youth and parent transformational trainings. We want you to be set up for success, so this is an amazing experience for you, as well as our students. Feel free to send any questions.

After these trainings there will be organized retreat days where mentors will be coaching these kids through this process that you have already gone through at one of the dates above. The great staff at SEA is here to answer all of your questions and concerns.
