Paint a Mural/Design-A-Space AND TJ trip

Hoop Foundation is a non-profit in Inglewood that’s committed to helping youth in that community find hope and a future. serveLA has partnered with them to help create an enticing environment for these young minds to develop. We will be spending two consecutive Saturdays painting a redecorating the space. If you have ever lifted a paint brush, this is the event for you. If you like to hang out with people as they lift a paintbrush, this is the event for you. If you would like to donate the cause with supplies, this is definitely the event for you!

Needs:
What we DON'T have is a lot of funds to draw from so we're asking for your generosity. Please reply to this thread if you can bring any of the following.
1) Painting supplies. Tarps, Brushes, rollers, paint thinner, etc. You'll be painting murals.

Tijuana Trip
Monthly weekend trips for college age students to serve at an orphanage in
Mexicali.
The two-day trips will give students a chance to spend time with orphans, ages 2
months - 18 years old. Each trip will include: playing sports, doing arts and crafts,
playing games, helping the kids do chores, doing organized songs for younger kids,
lessons with older kids, helping them write their own stories and songs. Specifically,
each weekend trip will be formed around the talents of those participating. We have
a wonderful opportunity to connect with individual kids and really have time to learn
about their lives and invest in them consistently. Come create the future for the
youth of Tijuana!
