to look for in a sled for my needs and move up next winter!
Hoping to try it out this weekend!
Caesar is almost 10 weeks old and is doing great. If he's moving it's at
full speed!

35 years. Not perfect but neither is anything else that I've seen.
Cut out the wire rims so that the tire will lie flat and put it on so
that it is bulgy which allows you to flex it to break out ice that may
freeze on it. Use half a tire for each runner, which equals 1 tire
per sled. doug

Thanks for the feed back Doug! My husband thinks he's going to be way too
much dog for an old lady like me! Ha! Can't wait for him to grow up!
Of course I'd hoped for a few more to add to my team, or even have two small
teams, but I feel Caesar will prove to be worthy none the less.
My sled is all put back together, the previous owner took it apart for a
repair and never completely reassembled it.
I just need the foot pads. I'll use a bike tire, thanks for all the info on
foot pads.
Should I use any bike tire? A knobby tire or a road type tire? Is too much
grab a consideration?
Oh I also need a snow hook still!
Here is a photo of my sled, just a starter but hopefully will give me an
idea of what I want in my next sled that I plan to buy before next winter.
This one will be a good extra I hope.
I'm thinking of hooking up and taking a test run down the 800' driveway to
put out some trash! Even though I promised Bill I wouldn't take it out until
he was present! :o)
