I would like to invite you to the inaugural event of the Sejong
Society!
The Sejong Society is a new organization, that meets regularly for
discussions regarding Korea and U.S.-ROK relations. The Sejong Society
is
targeted towards engaging and involving young professionals whom are
interested in thinking about Korea's historical, political, and
economic relations with the United States, and about Korean society
and culture in general.
Following dinner will be a discussion with distinguished guest Mr. Lim
Won-hyuk from the Brookings Institution regarding North Korea. Our

Speaker: Dr. Wonhyuk Lim
Visiting Fellow, Center for Northeast Asian Policy Studies, Brookings
Institution Fellow, Korea Development Institute (KDI)
"Prospects for North Korea"
Dr. Wonhyuk Lim has extensive experience working in policy and
economics with regards to Northeast Asian economic cooperation,
competition policy and approaches to privatization and restructuring.
He is conducting research as a visiting fellow at the Center for
Northeast Asian Policy Studies at Brookings Institution on Korean
Rapprochement and Northeast Asian Integration. Dr. Lim will speak on
the prospects for North Korea's future and the larger implications of
integration in Northeast Asia.
Light refreshments will be provided at the discussion.
(Note: There is no cost to attend the discussion, but the cost of meal
and gratuity are the responsibilities of each diner at the
restaurant.)
