Hey everyone,

I’m writing today because you have expressed interest us or we have expressed interest in you participating in our First Annual Starting Line Business Plan Competition. After speaking with a number of entrants, interested student groups, and existing competitions we found that many involved would be better served if they had more time to better articulate their proposal and bring their ventures up to our more holistic guidelines.

Taking you all into account, and in order to stand by our promise to make it easy for you to strengthen your surrounding communities through social entrepreneurship, we have elected to adopt rolling submissions. We will add updated and clarified information to the Competition Page of our site to aid you in this process.

If you at first felt rushed or behind, please take this time to answer any lingering questions. If you were prepared and turned your application in already, take a break! We’ll update you when the judging begins. If there are changes you wish to make to a submitted application, we encourage you to do so and reapply by sending your proposal to this email.
