Join us for an exciting evening of film and discussion at UC Berkeley.  A DIFRET (Courage) film screening will take place on Thursday, March 10, 6-10 pm, 155 Dwinelle Hall, UC Berkeley.  https://www.facebook.com/events/792073730898669/

Difret is a new film by two Ethiopian filmmakers that chronicles the extraordinary story of a 14-year-pld Ethiopian girl who was abducted for marriage.  The story that unfolds, based on actual events, is a powerful tale of the clash between traditional practices and modern notions of human rights.
