Is anyone free during this time to help out at this event? This is a good opportunity for us to reach out to some other orgs, since they have a similar idea as us, but a little smaller and focused more on public health awareness.

Please let me know via text. My number is below

Hello!

My name is Rachel Crowley and I am the chair of AMSA's Community and Public Health Committee. Stanley Kim, one of our co-presidents, forwarded me your information regarding your upcoming fair. Our committee and organization would love to be involved. In what capacity would you like us to participate in your event? Please let me know anything that you would like us to do.

In addition, on April 8th, 2016 from 3-7pm our committee will be holding a Public Health Day Fair in Kroeber Plaza. In alignment with the CDC's National Public Health Week, our aim is to increase health awareness on campus. We plan to have tables set up to engage students, play health education games, and increase awareness on multiple aspects of health such as sexual health, physical health, preventative health, and mental health. We will also use this opportunity to advertise organizations and sponsors in the area who aim to improve health such as your organization in order to provide students with opportunities to be health on campus and off campus.

We would love it if Seed of Health could join us at our event. This is an opportunity to advertise your organization and increase awareness on an aspect of health that your organization is passionate about through an activity, demonstration, or informational booth. Let us know if you would like to participate and if you have any questions regarding your involvement.

Thank you!
Rachel

Hi Euisung,

I apologize for the late correspondence. We are interested in participating in the fair. Just a few questions regarding logistics:
  • What is the size and scope of the fair? About how many are we expecting in terms of attendance?
  • Who are the main attendees of the fair?
  • Are there other components to the fair other than the booths?
These questions are just so that members from our end can get a general idea of who they will be talking to and visualize the fair itself. Our Community and Public Health Committee is interested in setting up a booth for AMSA, and our chair, Rachel Crowley, should be contacting you shortly.

Lastly, I would be very interested if we can meet to discuss AMSA's participation in the Health and Wellness Fair, and possibly discuss other future events as well. I am available to meet on Thursday (3/10) if you are interested. I hope to hear back soon. Thanks.

Best,
Stanley Kim

Hi Stanley,

My name is David, I'm the president and board of Seed of Health, a non-profit start up dedicated to improving health around the world. Sorry about the abysmally belated response. Hopefully Tiffany Rajah explained a little of what we're doing to you, but if not, I'd really appreciate the opportunity to speak with you or AMSA's leaders to discuss the possibility for AMSA to participate in our Health and Wellness Fair this year as boothers.

If you could text or call me at 408 315 4504, or connect me to the right people to discuss this opportunity, that would be fantastic.

I look forward to hearing back from you!

Best,
