In case doing the full moon run at Lake of the Woods is not your thing, the bicycling club would like for you to know about their full moon bike ride from Meadowbrook Park to the Sidney Dairy Barn this Friday night, April 22. See below for details.

more bicycles. As a local bicycling advocate as well as an avid cyclist, I encourage
you to spend a few minutes and participate with your kids and/or grandchildren 
for all of us to learn and become safer bicyclists and motorists!

converge on the Urbana Civic Centelocated at 108 E. Water Street 
on the last Tuesday of each month in April through October. 
From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., rain or shine. 

Help Design a Better Bike Rack
Annie F Adams is assisting Sr. Mechanical Engineering students at the 
University of Illinois (sponsored by Zappa Wheels) with the design for a 
better rack--for the back of your bike. They created a short, online survey
to understand which features are important to bike riders. 
Please help their effort by taking 120 seconds to complete the survey

7:05pm; Gathering and chatting begins
Peter Davis and Champaign Cycle mechanical assistance on-site
7:25pm Departure  >>>> REMEMBER >> NORTH parking lot

Destination is Sidney Dairy Barn -- Flavor of week- LEMON
Choose a casual ride speed or a quicker pace.  No one is left behind. 
Some cyclists will proceed to Block after Sidney

EVERYONE IS INVITED. This is a community event
It is not a sanctioned event by any bicycle club, group or individual. 
Family, friends, co-workers, groups, individuals are invited.
Please invite at least ONE of your friends!

An extra set of
 batteries for your lights is recommended.

Cyclists are responsible for their own safety and navigation. 
Illinois law requires the use of lights at night. 
Wearing helmets is a very good idea.

– Full Pink Moon – April This name came from the herb moss pink, or 
wild ground phlox, which is one of the earliest widespread flowers of the 
spring. Other names for this month’s celestial body include the 
Full Sprouting Grass Moon, the Egg Moon, and among coastal tribes the 
Full Fish Moon, because this was the time that the shad swam upstream to spawn
