Out of abundance of caution, we are canceling the Riggs Run tonight. The path along Windsor Road is completely covered. The path from Riggs to Stone Creek is not in great shape and we truly do not want people running on 130/High Cross Road as it’s high traffic and extremely dark. We don’t want people running on Windsor either for the same reason.
The median path in Stone Creek is also not great, so we would need to run on the road. Better situation since it’s lower traffic, but getting to Stone Creek from Riggs is the concern.
If you decide to run the route on your own, PLEASE be sure you’re wearing light colored clothing and have some kind of reflective gear or lights.
Stay safe if you’re outside!
