Upon having a meeting with Tom, for my general comfort in moving to
Seattle, a few things came up in our conversation that I would like to
discuss with the group. You may all see new topic headlines, I hope
no one minds, I'm just trying to keep these thoughts separate so that
we can focus on different issues with as much scope as possible, while
limiting them to that discussion topic. God, I hope this makes sense,
there is a lot on my mind righ tnow and I'm trying to focus.

As far as the founding members go, I would like to suggest that on
certain decisions we call a meeting and have a forum where we can
debate hard decisions that will effect everyone. Important decisions
being budget, outside designers/ directors/ actors, offering outside
people company positions, etc. We can also assign some sort of checks
and balances system with giving different people different authority
when making certain decisions. It's all vague, but I think you all get
the idea. what I'm trying to say is that we should decide if we want
all of the important decisions that are going to be made to be a
majority rules or everything must be voted as a consensus (I hope
that's how you spell it).

Also, as a way of being on top of all of each other's ideas, I'd like
to suggest (as it was Tom's idea) that we try to find a way to have
weekly meetings in a chat room of osme sort, so that everything being
said or discussed is viewed by the same people in the same way. I
think we have all been very good at expressing our thoughts and ideas
on the list for everyone, and discussing them further through the list
without going off on our own and discussing them too much with only a
few members. This, I feel, keeps us all on the smae page and keeps us
up-to-date with all the new information, barianstorms, etc.

Tom also brought up that a really great slot for a show is right before
Christmas until mid-January. Most companies tend to close their shows
right before Christmas and open a new one in mid-January. If we could,
somehow, squeeze a show into that 3 to 4 week period to be showing, we
might attract a bigger audience merely by default. Just something to
think about. I know that Rusty's (is that right? Is it Randy... I
know it starts with an R!) availability isn't until mid-December, so
we may want to scrap this idea or try to do two shows... I don't want
to seem too enamored with doing too much right off the bat, I just
wanted to throw it out there.

That's all I can think of right now. I know this seems very specific,
and it will be much easier to hash out when we are face-to-face. I'm
jsut puttin git out there while it is all fresh in my head.

all sounds good to me. once we all live in seattle we can have the
weekly meetings in person.
i think the best way to chat is using America Online's program: AIM.
You can download it for free.

Mondays work for me. Actually, any night time meeting
would work for me, as long as it's not too too late.
I have to be up by 4:30 most mornings.
