I've searched the internet at some length and feel like I'm wasting my
time. Does anyone know of any screenwriting software (to write
scripts) for the Palm OS??

It looks like ScriptRight has one for Microsoft Mobile but not yet for
Palm.

I use Movie Magic for the desktop and need something compatible for the
Palm OS.
