Dear seabirders,
We boarded ferry of Ogasawara (Bonin) Islands, Tokyo at the end of last month.
Because it was a voyage just after typhoon 12 passed, we were able to observe some rare seabirds in Japan.
Also We could observe a Swinhoe's Storm Petrel closely.

Bryan's Shearwater -1 (our friend observed off Muko-jima, Bonin Islands)

Swinhoe’s Storm Petrel -1
Storm Petrel sp. -5
Long-tailed Jaeger -1
Skua sp. -1
Brown Booby 70+
Red-footed Booby -5
Crested Tern -1
Sooty Tern -17
Common Tern -3
