Argentine Tango Classes with Jennifer Olson in Belltown
Wednesdays, June 17th - July 15th, 7:30 – 9:30 pm

Beginning Argentine Tango, Wednesdays 7:30 – 8:30 pm:
This beginning class will focus on an in-depth analysis of tango
fundamentals. The instructor will emphasize quality vs. quantity, so
it may be appropriate for more advanced dancers as well. Whether you
are just beginning or a veteran, come join us at the strategically
located Belltown Dance Studio for an experience that is sure to
heighten your confidence, creativity, and body awareness with this
dynamic and social dance.
Intermediate AND Advanced Argentine Tango, Wednesdays 8:30 – 9:30 pm:
This class will delve into the depths of simple and complex musical
elements. Expect to be challenged, yet leave the class with 100%
social dance floor friendly concepts and movements. This is a class
were you learn how to “dance,” not simply “move” around the dance
floor. Come find out what your dance has been missing!
$55 per person for each 5-week series when pre-registered by June 3rd,
$65 at the door. Pre-registration is highly recommended as this class
has limited space available.

Women’s Lead Class and Guided Practica with Jennifer Olson
Starting July 5th 1-3 pm (continues on 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sundays)
Are you a follower who is wanting to improve your understanding of the
dance? Come join the ladies of Seattle in this unique class to learn
how to lead! No leading experience is necessary.
The first hour will be presented in class format with new vocabulary
presented each week as well as super secret subtle details to ensure
quality movement. The later half will be presented in practica format
where the instructor actively comes around assisting the fearless
ladies in their newfound leading skills. Pointers on following will
also be given.
Drop-in Rate: $15
(That’s only $7.50 an hour!)

for a fragment of the cost of a private lesson?
Then this Guided Practica is for you! Jennifer Olson will lead this
guided practica where all who attend “share” a two-hour private
lesson. Jennifer will be actively making the rounds to correct
everything from making that move feel “just right” to aesthetics. Come
join us at the conveniently located eXit SPACE dance studio, just a
few minutes walk from the Greenlake Community Center.
Price: $8 per session
Come with a partner or alone.

Parking is free in the residential areas, in the Greenlake Community
Center parking lot, and along the lake. (Expect a 5 min. walk.)
