Hello,

Please tell your friends about our upcoming Tango 101 and 102 classes.
Tango 102 is appropriate for most beginner tango dancers that have yet
to study with The 8th Style. The upcoming class schedule is as follows:

Tango 101:
THE FOUNDATION
This series covers the five most common movements of milonguero style
tango: changing weight and walking, back ochos exiting with the cross,
the rock-rock turn to the left, turn to the right, and the
quintessential ocho cortado. We cover ground quickly, focusing on the
connection, musicality, and technique necessary to execute each figure
gracefully. Be prepared to get close! Previous dance experience and
signing up with a partner are both recommended but not required.

TUESDAYS starting Feb. 19th - Mar. 18th, 9:00pm to 10:00pm

MONDAYS starting Feb. 25th - Mar. 31th, 8:00pm to 9:00pm

Tango 102
IMPROVISING WITH CONFIDENCE
In this series, students learn simple ways to connect and blend the five
basic movements into an array of possibilities that will bring you
endless hours of tango joy. Upon the completion of this series,
students have the vocabulary needed to enjoy dancing with all kinds of
people in all kinds of situations, to all kinds of music. As with Tango
101, the focus of the series will be connection and technique. As
before, students dance body to body.

THURSDAYS starting Feb. 21th - Mar. 20th, 7:00pm to 8:00pm

You can check the website to register or for more information about
other upcoming classes.

Also don't forget that the Drills Class is starting soon (no
pre-registration needed) Finally, when you get a chance you should try
to check out our Practica Moderna, it is a great place to work on the
things that you learned in class the previous week.

See you in class!
