Hi I am a final year fashion student at Heriot Watt University is
Scotland. My dissertation is on the destruction being caused to coral
reefs by the influx of ignorant package holiday divers and cowboy dive
companies. Im doing an 'Apres Scuba' collection to coincide with this.
It would be so so helpful if you guys could give me your input on

I'm not sure that package holiday divers or "cowboy dive companies' are
to blame for coral destruction, although certainly they're a factor.

The two biggest dangers to coral are ocean warming, which causes the
coral to bleach; and inadvertent introduction of coral predators, such
as the crown-of-thorns starfish (genus Acanthaster) in Australia.
