Now that I finally have a chance, I want to sincerely thank those of you who made my time in Savannah both enjoyable and worthwhile. If not for you and the great cycling scene you support, my time there would have been pretty miserable.
As a result, my speed and skills have improved significantly, I am participating in sanctioned races, and I am now in the best shape of my life. Of course, I could have done without the crashes and broken bones...
So a big shout out to Vince; Glenn Sandefur; Norm; Leon and John from Bike Link; Dave and the guys at Perry Rubber; the “intermediate” 47 group (Andy Morar, Stephen Templeton, Mac, Nestor, Gary, Mark Woodruff, Stacie, Derek; John the art professor, Jean Toth, and Melissa); Bill Brewer and all my team mates at Robson Forensic; Andy Udinsky; Bill and Kat Sellars; Greg McDevitt; Phil; David Bowers; Josh Barrett; Brian Schoeffler; Mitch Askew; Bill Cole; Rex Demers (RIP); Paul Jacqua; Ryan Williams; Billy Tomlinson; Michael Jordan; Peter “the maestro” Shannon; Jason Molina; and Curt Zahn.
Thanks for the friendship, camaraderie, great training (read: pain) and tips, to say nothing of organizing all those rides. I look forward to seeing you all out on the road sometime in the future.
Be safe, and LOVE THE WORK!
