100-110 miles with cross legend Jeff Weinert. He'll probably be on a cross bike with slicks, so we might have to seek out some smooth dirt to show him whats up.
So we are on for a 7:30 start Saturday from Bluffton Bikes. There will only be one section of gravel on the way out. Old Purrysburg Rd. About 6 miles in length and very smooth. We'll go out to Clyo and back, avoiding the gravel on the way home. But if there is a small group of eager adventurers I might be convinced to guide said adventurers on other gravel sections. Store stop in Clyo. Pace will be set by the two guys on the front, given that the two guys on the front give enough room for the group to draft. Standard conversational double paceline etiquette.
we're starting early to be done early. easter egg hunts and such.
