This is duplicate of the info on the facebook event page, but if possible reserve and comment there because email is a horrible, horrible medium for back and fourths between many people. The only thing worse is MMS reply alls. - rant over, thanks.

Perry-Roubaix has been cancelled this weekend, so take the challenge and ride 100 miles.

Weather Permitting: Nothing sucks more than getting your buddies roostertail of roadgrim in your face all day, so riding in the rain is not an option (at least as a group). I will post a final message on Friday evening around 9 making the call to either postpone the start of the ride or to ride sunday instead.

Ever wonder what its like to do a pro team training camp? Its like this ride, day in day out, but faster.

Feel free to invite folks as you see fit, I'd like to do the ride in under 5 hours. Ideal size is 12-15 riders.

Suggested Route: http://goo.gl/maps/Uiyg6

Rotating paceline at base pace (21-24mph or ~220 watts on the front and 125-180 in the draft), lets plan for 2 refueling stops (or if we can get a driver sag that would be crazy awesome).

Basic Suggestions:
- you should be able to do the mileage at the speed above, in a group. If you can stay in the second group on the Piggly Wiggly ride, you should be fine.
- you should be able to have gear for 2 tire changes and be able to change a flat on your bike in 5 minutes. DO ride newer tires and tubes. DON'T ride aero wheels with difficult tight rims, last years tires, old equipment.

bring
- cell phone
- money
- a quiet chain
- fuel and water for three hours
- good attitude
- willingness to work as a group

leave
- ego
- predefined workout detailed differently than the ride description above

final note:  This ride will be the best type of base riding you can do. I've done thousands of hours of it and have experience riding pace for several great riders and pro teams in support of stage race wins. So if it seems I am telling you what to do, please understand it is to make the ride as a whole more fluid and make you a better rider. Some people hate being told what to do (even if it is said with the best of intents), so if you do, this ride is probably not for you. Every ride needs a captain and I am it for this ride, but my aim is to keep us as safe, happy, and healthy as possible. If this sounds awesome, but you can't make it, I am planning another ride on March 30 in honor of my buddy and cyclocross national champion/worlds medalist, i think, Jeff Weihart being in town. There will be a couple recon rides coming up for that as well.
