Dear friends, fans, & fellow readers,

I'm excited to announce that my book A Light So Lovely: The Spiritual Legacy of Madeleine L'Engle, Author of A Wrinkle in Time goes to print shortly, releasing Aug. 7. Yay!

The book features interviews with Madeleine's friends & colleagues such as Philip Yancey, Luci Shaw, and Wrinkle in Time film producer Catherine Hand, as well as contemporary artists/writers influenced by her work, such as Sarah Bessey, Makoto Fujimura, Nikki Grimes, Sara Zarr, Jeffrey Overstreet, & more--plus a foreword by Madeleine's granddaughter, Charlotte Jones Voiklis. I can't wait to share this exciting project with the world!

My publisher is ready to send review copies far and wide, so if you have connections at media outlets or are interested in reviewing the book or interviewing me for your blog/podcast, please let Robin Barnett know: robin.barnett@harpercollins.com.

I will stay in touch about other ways to help spread the word, including giveaways & special promos for preorders. In the meantime, feel free to share the following on social media
Finally, some of you know that I was recently diagnosed with very early Stage I breast cancer. The good news is it's highly treatable, so I'll be having surgery this Friday, May 18 with a 2ish-week recovery (and most likely no radiation or chemo). Thank you for your prayers through this ordeal.

Gratefully,

Sarah Arthur
