Dear friends & fellow readers,

For those who might be interested in attending the Frederick Buechner Writers Workshop at Princeton Theological Seminary June 7-10, here's information about the Advanced Writers cohort I'll be leading (see below). You have to register for the Buechner workshop first, and then apply separately to the Advanced Writers course. Once accepted, you'll then register (for a separate fee) for the course.

Meanwhile, I'll also be at the Festival of Faith & Writing at Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan April 14-16 -- look for me at the Redbud Writers Guild booth in the Exhibit Hall or roaming giddily around campus :)

Welcome to another preview e-mail from the 2016 Frederick Buechner Writer's Workshop at Princeton Seminary. The workshop will be held June 7-10, and as we look forward to our summer start, we'll be sending you additional information on what's ahead. In this e-mail, we're excited to tell you more about our Advanced Writer's Workshop.     General registration is now open!  Click here to register.                                                    The Advanced Writer's Workshop   for seasoned writers interested in taking their writing to the next level    Under the leadership of writer-in-residence Sarah Faulman Arthur, seasoned writers will have a chance to hone their craft further in the new Advanced Writer's Workshop.    The class will begin with a pre-conference lunch on Tuesday, June 7, 2016, and will then meet daily in the afternoons for three sessions total. Meetings will not conflict with other seminars.    Topics will include establishing healthy writing habits, clarifying your “brand,” and developing and maintaining your publishing “platform.”   Networking with other writers and industry professionals, including group meals and other opportunities, will be a key component of the advanced program.    Participation in the advanced offering is by application. To apply, first register for the Buechner Writers Workshop.
