Wine Night Tuesday 05/08/07

Good day all SYV Winos!

So wine night is upon us!

For wine nights we will be celebrating the wonderful cuvees or blends
of Santa Barbara County. White or Red it does not matter - but let us
see if we can bring an example of a blend from our local area.

The list below is not meant to be an exhaustive list (and being price
conscious) not excessively pricey (I hope). I have tried to limit it
to an affordable price (+-$20 and less), but by no means should you
feel limited to that price. If you have been dying for an excuse to
open that $50 bottle of Sunstone Eros you will not find any objection
from anyone in attendance!

The wines below are those that I have personally tasted and am
comfortable recommending.

Red Blends

Stolpman - Limestone Hill Cuvee (Cab/Merlot/Malbec)
Beckman - Cuvee Le Bec (Grenache/Syrah/Mouvedre)
Longoria - Hoo Doo Red (Grenache/Syrah)
Longoria - Blues Cuvee (Merlot/Cabernet Franc/Malbec/Grenache)

White Blends

Beckman - Le Bec Blanc (Roussane/Marsanne/Grenache Blanc)
Epiphany - Inspiration (Roussane/Marsanne/Viognier/Grenache Blanc)
Brander - Cuvee Natalie (Sauvignon Blanc based with Riesling/Pinot
Gris/Pinot Blanc)
Buttonwood - Devin (Sauvignon Blanc/Semillion)

Venue - Andreas & Amanda's Condo
1493 Aarhus drive, #3, Solvang CA 93463

Time - 7:15-7:30' ish
