Dear SYV Bicyclists

In 2021, the California legislature passed the Bicycle Safety Stop Bill but the governor vetoed it. The bill, which will allow people on bikes to treat stop signs as yields, is back and we have our best chance to pass it in 2022, starting with a crucial hearing this Wednesday.

But first, we need your help.

Tell your assemblymember to vote YES on the Bicycle Safety Stop Bill >>

Currently, the bill is in the Appropriations Committee, where many bills go to die. Your assemblymember, Chris R. Holden, is the powerful chair of the committee, so your advocacy is crucial to moving the bill forward. Email Chris Holden NOW.
