December Update

Hello everyone,

It's just before Christmas time gets into full swing, so I thought I'd
send out a status report.

All the forest road permissions are secured. So that's good news. :) A
few worker registrations are starting to trickle in. Some of the radio
planning is underway. I just went down to Cheraw last Friday to meet
with some folks and do research on the big Rally Guide for competitors.
I also refined some of the maps that I have.

I recently got a big stack of paperwork from Brian (last year's worker
coordinator) so after I get back from Christmas in Maine with my
family, I'll be going through all that, contacting workers, and coming
up with a big "worker plan". I'm predicting that the results of the
analysis will be "Whoa, we need more workers!" *grin*

So get ready, I'm going to making the calls soon. Think about any folks
you know who might want to get involved!
