Events Committee Chair Position

As many of you know, Pablo Lorenzo is no longer able to head up the
San Gabriel Valley Branch Events Committee. We thank him for his time
and efforts - we had some great events last year.

We are reaching out for a new Chair Person to lead the Events
Committee. This position requires organizational skills including
assigning specific tasks to volunteers and other committee members,
coordination with the Steering Committee and the LA Chapter, working
with pre-established budgets for events. The Chair will assist
others to identify and contact sponsors. Meetings vary, but
candidates should assume at least one organizing meeting a month as
well as attending events and occasional conference calls.
