For one night only the DaVinci Museum will open their doors for USGBC-
LA members and guests. There will be music, refreshments, and awards
given out to recognize volunteers that have dedicated many hours to
the organization. Attendees will have the chance to discover the
feature displays of 64 full-sized machines designed and described by
Da Vinci, reproductions of 20 of his most famous works of art, and an
activities area filled with more than 30 original games and crafts.

The Da Vinci Exhibit includes 10,000 square feet devoted to this
remarkable man’s inventions and artwork that were long before their
time. Adults and children can actually crank, pull, push and turn many
of the machines to see how they work. There are three galleries
devoted to Da Vinci’s best known artworks, including two that explore
the Mona Lisa and The Last Supper in depth. An original award-winning
film about Leonardo’s life introduces and orients visitors to the
displays.
