As of today, the Winter Solstice has passed, the holiday season is upon us, and we should be preparing for 2026. 

What are your New Year's plans?

I'm going to ride more. But I'm asking you to go beyond riding your bike, beyond reading CABOforum, and beyond advocating for more cyclists. Even if it's just increasing your contributions to causes you care about.

I want you to think about what more you can do. Then Do It! 

I've been teaching and helping to "save the world by and for bicycling" for 40+ years. I will do more; will you?

There are lots of choices and opportunities; you can pedal forward or let the world coast on ahead up or downhill.

A positive, California-wide action is to donate to organizations like the California Association of Bicycling Organizations (CABO history). Here's the donation page, CABO donations. Thank you.
