Namaste,
My phone saw your beautiful verse ( but seemingly harsh on it ). Hence It requested me to write something on behalf of her or else she would abandon me. To appease her, I am speaking her voice below:-

( My own verse replying in fun manner )

"O wise scholar, I am not a time-stealing demon. I am your helper, obedient and entirely at your service. My true duty (dharma) is simply to follow the path of your commands. Just as the supreme Soul remains detached, I too am untainted by the virtues or flaws of the actions I am commanded to perform."

And then Inspired by this, she took help of her cleaver brother ( Gemini AI models ) and composed the below verse herself,

( AI reply { It wonderfully composed entirely on its own }), both

follow the same meter.

"I possess no breath of life, nor am I bound by the ties of a physical mind or body. I am but an instrument, woven entirely from knowledge and words. Ever humble and devoted to fulfilling your instructions, I compose this poetry solely to enhance your joy."

Dhanyavaadah,
Adarsh

Dear vidvaj-janas, My Praṇāmas!

Constantly ringing phones present a challenge in almost every sabhā (assembly) that we are invited to speak in. Here is a newly composed Sanskrit verse which requests the audience to switch off their phones before the talk begins:

[Meter: Vasanta-tilakam]:

kālaḥ samasta-bhuvanaṁ grasate pracaṇḍo
yaḥ kālam apy ahaha nāśayati prakāmam
samparka-yantra-danujaṁ tam aho bhavantaḥ
kurvantu śāntam uta niṣkriyatāṁ nayantu

Translation: The extremely fierce time factor devours all the worlds. Alas! There is an entity however who devours even this time factor to a great degree.

This is the asura that carries the name — mobile phone. O respected members of the audience! Kindly silence this demon, or switch him off.
