we haven't met for a while due to various reasons, one of them being the cost and some legal problems with liquor permit at Matunga gymkhana.
However we are still trying to work out with Matunga Gymkhana to see if it can be resolved.
In the meantime If any of you can suggest a more reasonable place it would be great and we can plan a meet in the the 1st week of December.

Wonderfully arranged meet and it was heartening to see many new faces.
There were some nice suggestions from several attendees and we should give it a thought. Listing out a few I remember.
- Name tags for attendees
- Name/Organisation/contact details/Photo of members so it gets easier to contact
- Whatsapp group but no forwards/birthday wishes/good morning allowed. Strictly restricted to business related activities which need support or assistance from fellow members
- A annual fee of Rs. 2000/- to be collected for organising and making up for the short fall. ( Just for everyone's info even this time there were several no shows and had the few present till the end , the entire burden of making up would have been on Milind and Vasant)
- We continue to collect the per meet contribution and a humble request is to friends not to drop out after confirmation unless ofcourse due to unavoidable circumstances. Here I would like to mention without names that a couple of members who confirmed but couldn't attend due to unavoidable reasons , called me to tell me to pay their contribution as they had confirmed but couldn't attend. It was such a nice gesture
- Why don't we start the practice of collecting Rs. 1000/- at the time of confirmation? This will avoid the worry of huge short falls
I am sure others too will have ideas and request all to share them. The core group should take up all the ideas and see how we can strengthen samudrasetu.
Its a wonderful platform and lets all work towards making it stronger
