The Long Play & Re-Records

Hey Folks!

I hope everyone's enjoying The Long Play so far! :)

We're gonna have to keep folks in the loop who may not be in a place
money-wise to join.

What does everyone think about the re-records and the new songs on the
e.p.?

I really like the new versions of "I Don't Want To Fall In Love" &
"Say What You Mean".

I wonder if she will do some sort of artwork and track running order
for all the re-records.

I guess it would never happen but I would DIE if she re-recorded "The
Turning" in it's entirety now in the current style. Especially,
"Answers Don't Come Easy" without the drum machine! :)

P.S. I noticed there is a Photo option on TLP. I have a LOT of Sam
photos. Is it creepy to post 'em all? I guess it's just creepy having
them. LOL

Am just getting a chance to play around on The Long Play and am loving it - just sent you a friend request. I love the phone booth with audio messages from Sam. The new versions of the songs are lovely.

I love your idea about The Turning! I'd like a shoegaze remix. ;)

I'm in Austin right now, trying to stay dry and listen to music (in
that order) at the ACL festival. Haven't been able to hear any of the
new music and can't wait! The trade off is that I saw a fabulous set
by Sara Watkins (from Nicke Creek) with Pete Thomas (elvis costello)
on drums, David Garza on guitar, Shawn Watkins (her bro) on guitar and
an old guy named John Paul Jones (led zep) on mandolin.
