Hi Samfans! :)

Just to really mix everybody up, Darren from Tokyo (me) is originally Darren (myself) from Gold Coast/Brisbane, Australia. :)

(Just some information for our US and other non-Aussie friends, Brisbane is actually pronounced "Brisbin". This rebellion against pronouncing how the name is written is probably a throw back from our convict days. Now that's a whole other story! ha ha ha :)

Actually, I did sort of get to see Sam live ... in Brisbane, Australia ... but she was known as Leslie back then. Leslie had managed to get a really bad cold, but she still performed and hit all the high notes. (She performed in a small concert hall that was actually built as the weight lifting venue for the Commonwealth Games when they were held in Brisbane.) There was one thing that really puzzled me about this concert, titled "The Black & White in a Grey World Tour". During the song, "Your Kindness", a dancer got up from the audience and started to dance on stage. I was not sure if this was something set up with the promoter and Leslie for Brisbane, or if it was just someone getting up and dancing by inspiration. From the take on Leslie's face, it all seemed unexpected, but she let it slide. Did anyone else see this particular tour anywhere else in the world and have the same thing happen?

Looking forward to having this mystery solved since it has been on my mind all these years for some reason.

Oh, and I would be stoked it I could get further links to Sam's live performances. Maybe we can extend Sam's experimentation and have her release a live DVD????

Thanks mate! :)
