Dear St. Seraphim Family,

St. Seraphim Orthodox Cathedral will join Orthodox parishes across the DFW area for the Pan-Orthodox Great Blessing of Waters at Lake Lewisville this morning.

Time: 11:00 AM
Location: Westlake Park – Cottonwood Pavilion
Address: 2000 Main Street, Hickory Creek, Texas
Parking: $5

Following the blessing, we will gather for a potluck meal (weather permitting). There will be a charcoal fire available for anyone who would like to cook meat; otherwise, please bring a dish to share.

Swim for the Cross:
This year, the cross will be thrown into the water three times, with the following divisions:

Open Division
Ladies Division
Twelve and Under Division

Those who wish to swim for the cross must bring a swim spotter in order to participate. Please also bring a towel and warm clothes.
