Hi Mark and others.

I reviewed my Mistral 16 pics and think that I have the image of the black nylon triangular part (deck hardware) that you asked about. It is snapped off on my Mistral 16 as well.

I will include a photo of what remains. Someone here will tell us what it's for.

It is part of the Trapeze bungee set-up. See figure 11 and 12 in the attached diagram.
