The Grandview-Woodland Area Council’s monthly public meeting will be held on Monday, November 7th at 7pm at Britannia Community Centre.

Dennis Bickel from Port metro Vancouver will be presenting their plans for the South Shore of Burrard Inlet. Come out to learn more about this project and how it will impact our neighbourhood.

Container truck traffic on Nanaimo Street has been dramatically reduced by a Pilot Project redirecting truck traffic. This 90 day project is scheduled to end on November 25th. What will happen then?

Plans for a townhouse project proposed for the 1500 block of Grant Street and the supportive housing project proposed for First and Victoria will also be on the agenda.

The City’s Local Area Planning process for Grandview-Woodland will be looking for community input in the coming months. GWAC directors will report back with information on the workshops the City has held so far.

All are welcome to attend this GWAC meeting. Hope to see you there!
