Hello SWMM-Users,

EPA has made available Lew Rossman's SWMM 5.2.2 on https://www.epa.gov/water-research/storm-water-management-model-swmm. Please check the updates file but here are the Engine Updates:

1. Long run times occurring when the simulation duration exceeded the end of an externally applied time series were eliminated.

2. A bug introduced in 5.2.0 causing the math expression evaluator to compute a*b^c as (a*b)^c instead of a*(b^c) was fixed.

3. A check was added to the dimensions supplied for the Modified Baskethandle and Round-Rectangular cross sections to insure that the computed height of the rounded portion does not exceed the total height.

4. Additional performance statistics were added to the Street Flow Summary table in the project's report file.

5. The warning messages removed in release 5.2.1 about raising a node's maximum depth and adjusting a conduit's elevation drop were restored.

6. The values reported for storage unit evaporation and exfiltration loss as a percentage of total storage volume were corrected.

7. The default number of threads used for dynamic wave flow routing was changed to 1 to be consistent with the User's Manual and with the GUI.

Also on EPA's web page is a link to the external Dstorm web page https://gcc02.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.openswmm.org%2FTopic%2F32275%2Fdstorm---a-design-storm-wizard&data=05%7C01%7Csimon.michelle%40epa.gov%7Cd0b2d598d5684727797808dad3de61aa%7C88b378b367484867acf976aacbeca6a7%7C0%7C0%7C638055249343941960%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C3000%7C%7C%7C&sdata=V2emB5Cft1aeXIyHuHRpz%2FSIW3CditnI2ulnvr5ehx8%3D&reserved=0 , which is a non-EPA product.

Thanks to all who commented back to EPA on the webpage, to me directly, (simon.m...@epa.gov), or to the SWMM-USERs List Serv on SWMM 5.2.1.

Please check out 5.2.2 and let us know what you think.

Buenas tardes!

Ojala me puedas ayudar.

Saludos cordiales,
Pablo
