Ahem. Yes, I know that has nothing to do with "world music," but hey... that strike by Super Mario... Dang! I think there was also some kind of political event earlier this week, but in the glistering light of the playoff spotlight, it seems to pale in comparison*...
Right then, on to the music. This week, we'll run down the Top 10, with a selection from each of the Requests welcome.
* Kind of kidding... I'm thinking I'll probably sneak in a couple of Obama songs in the second hour. From a world-music angle, I'm glad he won, because nobody seems to be making world-music songs about Mitt.
