April 7 is the birthday of Ravi Shankar, the first he won’t be around to celebrate with us. We’ll hear the sitar master performing with a variety of groups and other musicians in the first hour of the show. Then, your requests and other global music in hour 2.
By the way, I'll be away next week, and the talented Anch will be spinning the globe with you - and April 12 will be the Spring Membership Drive version of STG, so please show your support by becoming a KAOS member or renewing your membership. I'll be back April 19 to check up on you.
