Spin the Globe: Live Locally, Groove Globally

It's not often Spin The Globe gets to be part of a farewell tour. Sure, there was the live appearance on STG of Andy Palacio (photo: https://secure.flickr.com/photos/earball/1071521211/ ) just six months before he passed on, but that was far from expected. This week, however, we're delighted to take part in the demise of the Bay Area's Brass Menažeri Balkan Brass Band!
Um, that may not have come out right. We're delighted that they're coming, not that they're demising. Four years ago the band swung through here, playing a great, cramped set at ArtHouse. This time in addition to the STG appearance, they'll play a show suitable for dancing at the Evergreen Longhouse ( https://www.facebook.com/events/192439360880593/ ). It's your last chance to hear them live on STG, and dance to them live, so tune in and come out!
