Subject: Statement of Purpose Workshop with Professor Keith Weinstein and Dr. Breauna Marie Spencer -- Wednesday, November 8th @ 5:00 PM Pacific Time
Greetings Everyone,
On Wednesday, November 8th beginning at 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM Pacific Time, Professor Keith Winstein and Dr. Breauna Marie Spencer will be co-hosting a statement of purpose workshop for students applying to the Stanford University Computer Science M.S. or Ph.D. programs. During the workshop we will cover the following topics: (1) the content and organization of writing a statement of purpose; (2) how to discuss your previous experience in the statement of purpose; and (3) how to get started writing your statement of purpose (e.g., the revision process). We will leave 15 to 20 questions open for a Q&A session with prospective applicants. The workshop will take place via Zoom. Participation in this workshop is separate from the admissions process and does not guarantee admission. Should you have any questions, please contact Dr. Breauna Marie Spencer at bspe...@stanford.edu. Thanks in advance!
